Crush
Connect Crush to AudioLab Router.
Configure Crush
Create an AudioLab workspace key with llm.write and available credits. Use a model enabled for your workspace. Keep existing client permissions and tool approval settings.
Add an openai-compat provider in ~/.config/crush/crushrc, then add its model. The guide supplies the two native commands. Existing crushrc files are executable shell; the setup tool does not rewrite them.
provider add audiolab --type openai-compat --base-url https://api.tryaudiolab.ai/v1 --api-key "$AUDIOLAB_API_KEY"
model add audiolab/openai/gpt-6-astra --name "AudioLab" --context-window 128000 --default-max-tokens 4096Place these commands in your existing ~/.config/crush/crushrc, using the current Crush executable-configuration format. Keep the rest of the file. Restart Crush and choose the AudioLab model. Older JSON-based versions need their version’s configuration format.
Verify the Connection
Send a short text prompt, then a read-only tool request in a disposable project. Check the model, request record, and usage in Router. Test streaming and a follow-up turn before using a longer workflow. Client-specific tools and permissions remain managed by Crush.
The setup command can check authentication and model discovery without generating a response. See the protocol contracts for model and feature limits.
